Which returns are your strongest?
Partnership returns (Form 1065) first, then S corporation returns (Form 1120-S), C corporation returns (Form 1120) and individual returns (Form 1040). The other federal and state returns on this page are prepared by the same team, to the same checklists.
Who signs the return?
Your firm does. We prepare and document, your reviewer reviews, and your firm signs as the paid preparer and files. We never contact your clients unless you ask us to.
Do your preparers have PTINs?
The IRS requires anyone who prepares federal returns for compensation to hold a PTIN, including preparers outside the United States, who apply with Forms W-12 and 8946. Everyone who prepares returns for us holds one.
What about client consent for offshore preparation?
Under IRC section 7216 your firm needs the taxpayer's written consent before return information is disclosed to a preparer outside the United States. We give you a consent kit and a checklist, and we do not start work on a return until you confirm consent is on file.
How is work handed over?
Through your portal, your document system or a secure workspace we set up for you. Source documents are never emailed and never stored on personal devices.
